Will I be able to use an UK sim card in a Sprint iPhone 4S?

I'm going to the UK for a month in June and was wondering if I could purchase a UK sim for my Sprint iPhone 4S. Will it work?

Contact Sprint to be certain your iPhone is Unlocked for any carrier SIM, and then it should work.

I can confirm you can purchase PAYG sims ,(no contract at all ) in UK from all UK carriers

You load cash into it and just use , obviously with a telephone number allocated by the relevant carrier

Whether it works with a Sprint iPhone cannot confirm as it will be CDMA and we are 100% GSM in Europe

iPhone 4S for all US Carriers (Sprint included) is considered so called" World Phone", but you must have the Carrier Unlock it, to be used with other Carrier SIMs.
