how do i put icons on my home screen on my macbook
How do i put icons on my home screen on my macbook. i.e, internet, facebook. I used to be able to do this on my windows gateway laptop.
Does anyone know if this can be done.

On a Mac, you put them in the Dock....
Open the app, and it goes into the dock. Click and hold down the trackpad or mouse button on the icon in the dock, and you will get a menu that has the option to "Keep in Dock" under Options:
Once you do that, it will stay in the dock.
