Interesting you should ask this question. When I was at the Apple Store, purchasing my Mac Mini, I talked to a very nice lady about AppleWorks etc. She said that if I downloaded my files from AppleWorks onto a flash driver, and bring it into the store, the tecks will transfer the information over to Pages (I'm pretty sure it was Pages.) I have NO idea how that would happen. I'm going the way Michael suggests, however.

May 5, 2013 1:06 PM in response to MlchaelLAXby Patt,No problem at ALL, Michael! The lady taking the order, couldn't have been more helpful!
As soon as I get my Mac Mini and all the features ie, parallel, SLS, and programs installed, I will take MM to the Apple Store along with your splendid explanation regarding the "State of the Arts" https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4986591?start=0&tstart=0 as it pertains to the advancement of Intel from PPC. I will offer the printed word to the lady who served me so kindly that she might be able to better help other members of the "waste not, want not" crowd, and ofcourse, mention the ease of which I was able to obtain Server Snow Leopard.
Thank you for asking,
Patt
