erased entire os on macbook a1181 including boot camp what can i do

I was loading Windows XP onto my macbook A1181 and erased boot camp and the entire os for the computer.I do not have the original install disc. I had upgraded to leopard 10.5.6. I believe in order to load this version I first need to install tiger 10.4. My question is can I purchase 10.4 tiger and if I do will this right my computer.When I try to install 10.5,6 computer message is disc not for computer.Tthank you.

You may be able to get a replacement OS Disk for it by calling Apple with the Serial# handy, but probably cheaper to get 10.6 if yours supprts it...
