I have kawai cn24 digital piano with midi in and midi out and I want to connect it to the garageband in my iphone 4s. I wanna know is there any option by which I can play other sounds on my keyboard as it has only the basic sounds of a digital piano.

And if its possible, how is the quality of sounds that the garage band have?

Is it possible to get the output through my keyboard's inbuilt speakers?

Are the features exactly same for garageband on iphone as on ipad or macbook?

How many sounds can i get using garageband.

Thanks

Hello Ayan,

1. Yes you can connect CN24 to your Garage Band using a Midi to USB convertor.

2. Well, MIDI Stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, which definitely means you can play other sounds on CN24 even if it has only the basic sounds of a digital piano.

3. You might find some Latency, and If incase you find any Latency then download ASIO4ALL for Mac for to controll the buffer size and helps reducing the Latency.

4. Are the features exactly same for garageband on iphone as on ipad or macbook? No.

So, Use a Macbook for this purpose.

Hope this helps.
