When i restored my iphone 4, and tried to activate the who i got an error masaage saying my sim is not valid. this is the same sim card, and i have not done anything with the phone.
anyone have a suggestion for me?

Looks like your phone was unlocked unofficially.
Restore has re-locked it to the original carrier. Use Original carrier's sim.
i am useing the same sim card i used before i restored the iphone, and before it worked. and i have tried to restore it multiple times now.. and the same error appears.
You did not confirm if the iPhone is locked or unlocked.
SIMs have a history of failing during Restores. Check working of sim or get a new one from the carrier.
