    I was fed up installing, deleting etc etc etc hour after hour hoping that something would work.

    Simple solution to the "my ticked albums won't download to my ipod touch"

    Itunes might be ticked and allow downloading but your Itouch won't let it happen.

    Click on your ipod when in Itunes, that is just below DEVICE.

    This is where you can tell your device to allow syncing to do its work.

    Click on MUSIC

    In SYNC MUSIC you can see how many songs you have ticked


    This will now allow access to your entire library to any song you pick.

    It will not try and download everything.

    stress level back to normal

    I am getting furstrated. First of all my phone wont show up half the time in my itunes then when I got it to i was trying to sync my rocky horror picture show cd to my phone to listen to and everything BUT MY CD will sync to my phone its in my itunes library and everything it just wont go to my phone and ive been trying for the past hour.

    I just had the same thing happened and as it turns out it was sorted under compilations.....

    I have had this problem when adding albums individually to my ipad, they show up gray on the list of songs and are not actually transferring. I fixed it! On the "Summary" screen for the device under "options" I checked "Convert higher bit rate songs to 128kbps ACC" and then it worked!  You should try it too!
