So I recently bought an iPhone 5, and sometimes when I launch the camera it does the above.
I can close the app and re-open and it's not there. Should I be worried? Get a replacement...?
My warranty is until Janurary 2015, if I was to go into Apple - would they replace it? Would this mean that I have to wait for a replacement?

While you and I both know this is not normal, if you make an appointment at the Genius Bar and bring it in for them to see and can duplicate the problem, they would probably replace it. However, I would suggest doing all of the user troubleshooting first, because that is what they will do. Power phone off/on, if it still happens, then a reset, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will restart. If it still happens, then a restore, first from a backup, and if necessary restore as a new device. Remember, restoring as a new device will delete all data from the phone. If it still happens, then the Genius Bar is next.
