If you took no special pains to set up multiple accounts, the one and only account that you are using IS the Admin account.

ALL the accounts are listed in System Preferences > Accounts. Those that have Admin priviledges are noted.

just like any OS I use the first account does have to have admin rights to install the os and updates, it is strongly advised to set a standard non admin account for every day use too, and on mac never unlelss absolute need for a specific troubleshooting step enable root, i had to use root on linux from time to tme and only once or twice on mac os.
