I lost my phone at school, left home sick, and now I am at home on "find my Iphone" on my computer. I mistakenly clicked "play sound" and it says "pending". I am wonderiing how to stop the ringing. My phone is at school and could be interrupting a class, etc. I need to know how to stop the sound from home without having to go to school to get the phone and unlock it. PLEASE HELP!

This horrible, loud, and obnoxious ding, ding, ding, ding (and on for ten dings total in descending volume) plays about 30 times for a total on 2 minutes. It will stop itself. It used maybe about 1% of the battery power on my iPhone 5. I tested it, and I clocked it twice: that's all the torture I could tollerate.

You don't stop it. It will stop by itself, not sure what the time limit is for playing the sound.
That "horrible, loud, and obnoxious ding, ding, ding...(sic)" is intended to help you locate a lost phone. In the case of a lost phone I would think the more loud and obnoxious it could be would allow me to locate it that much more quickly.
