I have had a iphone 4 for a number of months but a few days ago i was using my girlfriends charger and noticed it go extrmemly hot. it carried on today and has died and wont charge on any of the extensions i have used even docking system. I have no idea what to do, if anyone could let me know ASAP then that'd help me alot as visiting an Apple store is hard for me at the moment!

Your battery is dead and need a replacement. Please send your iPhone online and they will give you a replacement. Try to use Apple Authentic cables when charging your device to avoid problems like overheating.

Okay thankyou. i am going to the store later today can it be done there?
They will probably keep it and/or send it to somewhere for the repairs. It's probably not something that you will be able to sit down and wait for at the store because they have to take apart the phone, and hook up the new wires, etc.
