How to allow text to be typed in a row continuously

I created a numbers chart for a cash flow sheet.


In the first row, I would like to type messages without having to go from column to column and have spaces.

How do I eliminate the cell format in each column?

IOW's I want it to look like a normal sentence being written across the top row


I hope I made my question understandable.

Turn off cell wrapping, left justify your text, and the cells to the right of the cell in which you are typing need to be blank. Justification and wrap are on the toolbar as shown in the screenshot below
