Will apple replace my iPod touch cause I dropped it 3ft up in an otterbox case and my iPod broke on the screen and corner will they replace it??? HELP!!

I've heard people drop their iPhones/iPods or what ever in an otterbox case and they replaced it for free. I have an iPod touch and it was in my case only fell off my lap and dropped literally 3 feet and it broke on the corner and the break spread into my screen. Will apple or the otterbox company help me? If so do you have the number? There are so many numbers on apples website (or email) idk what number to call if they will help!! :/

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours. Accidental damage like from dropping is not covered by the warranty.

Your Apple warranty does not cover damage.

So no, Apple will not replace it unless you pay for the replacement.

Contact Otterbox. Perhaps they will pay for the exchange. Apple does not license otterbox, so if Otterbox says they protect the iPod check with then

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. Price depends upon model and capacity. For 5 and 6G the exchange price is $99 for 16 GB and $149 for the other capacities. They do not fix yours.
