This did not help. the "wireless" icon is still gray and my network only appears if I click "open network preferences", but when I click it, it is unable to connect. The "Airport" icon has a yellow light next to it in the dialog box. I have no clue what's happeneing here....was working fine a day or two ago, then boom....gone. What gives??

I assume that there is an error message (that you are keeping to yourself right now) and have you done any checks? Are you getting a 169 IP address, or none at all.

Have you tried anything yet?
