Pro running hot, Activity Monitor says dashboard?

My Macbook mid 12' has been running hot with the fan on high all the time recently. Usually it is fine, but recently i downloaded some widgets for my Dashboard and ever since even with nothing but safaro on it still runs very hot. I looked at the Activity Monitor and it listed dashboard twice with around 120 CPU % so I erased the newly downloaded widgets but yet nothing has happened! I do not know what to do and any help would be appreciated greatly! Thanks.
