I have an ipod nano and during a download I lost all my music. It is on computer but can't seem to download back to ipod. Help?

I have an ipod nano and during a download I suddenly lost everything. It is still all on computer but have been unable to reload it back onto ipod. Any help would be appreciated.

Connect your iPod to your compute launch iTune then select your iPod, click the music tap and make sure the check box is check to sync your music.
