Help. My iPod Touch 4G wont charge.

My charger broke 2 weeks ago and my iPod got drained. Yesterday, I bought new ones but when I plugged it to my iPod, it wont open. Normally, it would show the charging symbols but it unfortunately, it didnt. I tried my new charger with my iPad 2 and it worked. Im not sure what the problem is, if it is the charger or the charging slot or the iPod. Ughh. Please help me. Really need your help. :(

Not Charge

- See:

iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting

- Try another cable.

- Try another charging source

- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

- Make an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store.

Also after being connected to a chargng source at least overnight try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
