Music sharing from iPod to iTunes

Hello there.

I would like some information on how exactly iCloud works.

Yesterday I plugged my iPod 5th Generation into my new laptop (my iTunes is 11.0.2)

It appeared that I had my purchased albums in my itunes library... (There was a cloud in the corner)
I managed to import some of those albums to my iTunes until I unplugged my iPod from my computer...
I go back to it today and those albums will not appear, I've tried many sources but nothing seems to make them appear.
I would just like to have my music on my computer, can anyone please help me understand and how to recieve these music albums?

It is much appreciated.

Go to Settings>>iCloud and make sure your iCloud account is set up. Then go to Storage & Backup...... You can choose over different plans. 5GB Plan for FREE or increase iCloud storage for a fee. IF you want iCloud to back up your iTouch..... activate the iCloud backup. It will automatically back up you camera roll, accounts (ei. facebook, email, twitter, etc), documents (notes, PDFs, etc) and your iPod settings when your itouch is plugged in, locked, and connected to wi-fi. You can also manage what you have on iCloud. If you also want to get access to your iCloud from Windows or Mac you can go to iCloud.com

NOTE: IF you back up with iCloud, your itouch will no longer back up to your computer automatically when you sync your itunes.

Thats all I really know about iCloud. I hope this info may help.

THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN SYNC, SHARE, AND TRANSFER YOUR MUSIC IS FROM ITUNES. PLUGGED IN TO via WI-FI.
