Please can someone tell me how to block a number from being able to call me?

They told me (tmobile) that they can't do it but apparently there is an app, blacklist something?
blacklist is a jailbreak app - if you jailbreak your phone you're on your own. T-Mobile should be able to blacklist phone #'s for you.
Oh gosh that doesn't sound good! They actually advised me to download the app! They said they cannot block a number?!
I just had to do this AT&T changes you to block numbers it is called smart limits it cost 4.99 a month free for 3 months and sprint does not charge you.
I did the following so I would no know they (junk calls) were calling.
I used Google to find a silent ringtone and put that on my iPhone. Then I created a contact for that number and associated the silent ringtone to that contact.
When that number calls I do not hear it ring, so it does not bother me. Plus I can associate other junk calls to the same contact and the all get the silent treatment.
Unsolicited SMS text messages get the same treatment.
I got a junk call tonight, and only knew it came in beacuse I had a missed call, but I was not disturbed by the call. I was actually glad I wasted their time for no benefit.
you may want to try an app called "youmail" it might be able to help you. it enable you to do different thing from any of your caller and that including private message for that paticular caller, and more.
