When I logon to mtv.com to watch reruns of shows I am not able to watch. They just never download. I can watch from youtube but that is it.

    How do you know the problem is not w/the webiste.  You should first post in their forum community or contact their tech support department. Read the info at the bottom of their home page.  You must first make sure that your MBP meets all of their requirements to play their tv shows.  Were you able to watch the shows previously on your MBP?

     

     

     

    Any reason why you have not updated to 10.6.8?  It's possible your current os is outdated for the site.

    I think I was able to watch them previoulsy. And I probably do have 10.6.8. I do every update that comes out. I will check to see if my computer meets all the requirements.

    All late 2011 MBPs were issued with Lion OS (10.7).  Go to the menu bar and click on the >About This Mac and see what OS you have.  This is mine:
