Battery stuck at 4%. Still beeps when plugged in. Icon SHOWS IT's charging. It is not. What's up?

If you get the same behavior in different outlets, can you try a different charger? Sounds a lot like a failed or nearly failed battery. To be sure you need to visit an Apple store genius bar and have the techs test the iPad...take the charger along, too.

Tell me about it, you're not the only one. Call or email ahead and make an appointment so you don't stand around for hours waiting for a tech to get free.

Turn it off. Do not turn it back on again. Plug it in. See if you get the same problem.
