Update 10.8.3 doesn't seem to install?

Update 10.8.3 doesn't seem to install?

I have been attempting to install update v10.8.3 for a week now? Every time I open up my desktop, the Update Notification appears, so I click on the Store icon. Then, when that comes up, I click on the Update, which throbs for ahwile, asks me to Restart and then when I do that... it says the same update need to be installed? I am on v10.8.2 now, and *also* experiencing broken links and such! All of a sudden Facebook certificate points to something else? Or Twitter points to a Virtue.com certificate? ***?

Well, I manually downloaded and installed 10.8.3. And now my laptop says it's on 10.8.3, altho the icon for the Ap Store still says I have an Update? And Twitter still points to Virtue? But I'll consider this thread closed, and open another one on broken links...

I had many problems similar to yours. After spending much time contacting Apple Reps. asking for assistance from the community- trying to reinstall ML, IT. ENDED UP @ the Store. They had to use their software to UPD me to 10.8.3. Hope this helps you and others if necessary.

Well, I was able to install it manually, so that issue ios now resolved for me. Now if I can figure why my Internet goes so wonky at times, I'ds be delighted!
