Q: A window showed up when i clicked on restore and said make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active or try again later. What do i do??

When I forgot my passcode to my ipod I decided to restore it. When I clicked on restore it told me "The iPod software update server could not be contacted. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later." What do I do?
