In my iphone settings I tap 'Wi-Fi' to turn on my wi-fi access when it turns onto the Wi-Fi page to slide the on/off button it is unresponsive. It doesn't allow me to turn on Wi-Fi. Any ideas??

I am unable to swipe the Off/On tab in my Settings to turn on Wi-Fi does anyone know how to activate it? If I go into General then About page and scroll down to Wi-Fi Address it says N/A. How do i add an address?
