Q: new open box mac with no iPhoto...

i just bought anew macbook pro with mountain lion and the iPhoto was not installed...when i go to the ap store to purhase it says that it has already been purchased using another's apple id...this was an open box purchase with best buy...how do i get iphoto and apeture?

You need to go back to Best Buy as they are the only people who can sort this out.

No I don't. But after I posted this I went back to the store and it allowed me to purchase the iCloud ap after all... So all is good now. Thanks.

I'll call apple tech and see if they'll refund my account... I think it's what u pay for getting a cheap deal on an open box. I saved $500 on the original price so $15 isn't toouch... They probably had to wipe it off before reselling as it had pics from the previous owner...
