panic report - every time

Hello all

After try to find a solution for my Macbook Pro, reading another posts, and without any success, i decided to open my own post with the last panic report.

I do not changed any hardware, or have anything external hardware connected, most of the time happens with any office for mac windows opened.

My OS version is 10.8.3, it's a 2.66 GHz intel core I7 with 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3.

All softwares are updated.

And i'm really tired to have my computer restarted 5 or 6 times a day.

That's the last report, and thank's for help!

soundflower, log me in and rim all have had reported issues with kp's and gray screen issues on these forums, these files are at boot kernel extensions and can cause issues.

So instead of seeking and destroying, I'm going to recommend you #8 Reinstall Just OS X over itself, then Software update fully, this will boot them out and fix any other unknown issues in OS X itself in the process.

Reinstalling OS X over itself doens't affect your files or most third party programs, however you should have a backup of users files off the machine at all times regardless as anything can happen anytime.

Once you do that, then if your using any of those softwares, check for updates that are compatible with the OS X version your using first, then reinstall them once you have verified there is no issues. If your still having issues, then work down through the Steps to resolve it.

..Step by Step to fix your Mac

You have the MacBookPro6,2, the Edsel of Macs. You might be able to resolve the problem by reinstalling OS X. Try that first, if you haven't done so already. Otherwise, you may be covered by this program:

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010): Intermittent black screen or loss of video

Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested. The routine hardware diagnostics used by service providers may not detect the fault. There is a specific test for this issue.

Print the first page of the panic report, and the support page linked above, and bring them with you.

Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.

*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.

You may be able to stop the panics by disabling automatic graphics switching in the Energy Saver preference pane, but that's not a solution.

Most likely, the logic board will be replaced. Sometimes the replacement is also defective, so be prepared for that possibility.

Looks just like my crash reports, all 6+ of them. This has happened ever since I first upgraded to Yosemite. What is interests me is how Apple handles this problem. The first thing the Apple tech did at the Apple Genius Bar is run my MacBook through their diagnostic test which my Retina passed with flying colors. Even though I passed he still took my MacBook and told me that I would be getting it back in 5 days.

What a nightmare for Apple. I spent the big bucks on this Retina MacBook even buying the 2.7Ghz model because I knew I would be own it for a few years. I came from the PC world and how Apple handles this PR nightmare will tell me if it's time to switch back. I am quite familiar with that enviroment.
