Q: I have just updated my Macbook pro from the earlier Mt.lion to OS X 10.8.3 and after I did that Parallels that i installed before the updat will not open. The Parallels was version 8. How can i fix this without uninstalling Paralles and reinstalling it?

I have just updated my Macbook pro from an earlier version of Mountain Lion to The OSX 10.8.3 version and after doing so my Paralles 8 will not open . I says there has been a problem and it can not open and if this keeps happening contact paralles. Thring to get Paralles on line or by phone is next to impossible. I waas hoping on of you would have a helping idea. My wife runs Windows 7 on the Paralles and needs it for her business.

Download the latest version: Parallels Desktop 8.0.18483. Uninstall the one you have then install the new version. The uninstaller will either be in your Applications folder or on the disk image for the version you now have installed.
