File transfer from messages to GTalk on windows

I am using a macbook pro with mountain lion 10.8.3. I chat using messages.app on my mac. I want to transfer a file to a person using GTalk application (http://www.google.com/talk/about.html) on Windows.

My account settings in messages are Use SSL, Port 5223 and Server talk.google.com

How can I enable file transfer here? It is not possible for the windows person to change so everything needs to changed at my end.
