Q: Cloud storage WITHOUT syncing

Does anyone know of a cloud storage solution that does NOT sync everything? I'm not fussed about syncing and do NOT want syncing!

I'd just like to have say 2TB storage in the cloud to store all my files which could be mounted on my desktop like a network attached drive.

I've spent ages searching for something I thought would be straighforward and simple but alas everywhere I've looked gives no option other than syncing everything up (like Dropbox and Google Drive)
