I have an Iphone 4S that I would like to sell. Only I have concerns about the new owner retrieving my information. What steps should I take to clean the phone befroe I sell it.

On your phone, turn off iMessage, FaceTime & then delete the iCloud account. Once you do that: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. Turn it off & give it to whoever you sell it to.
That's all you have to do. You can take the sim out if you want, if it's deactivated. iPhone stores no data on a sim card.
And, don't follow the instructions in the previous post.
