How can I stop Spotlight from indexing after a Time Machine backup?

My Spotlight is hung up "Indexing" after a Time Machine backup to my Time Capsule. Any suggestions in stopping that?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8), Time Capsule used for Time Machine

Head to System Preferences > Spotlight > Privacy

If Spotlight still has issues, it's cache or .plist is likely corrupted, use #12/#13 OnyX routine here

BTW, TM and TC are rather flaky backup methods, take a look about bootable clones.

Much sweeter and they run the machine too, unlike TM and TC. 😉
