Deleted Contacts

I have two macbooks and deleted my contacts out of face time not realizing it would delete the from both computers, ipads and iPhone. How can I get them back. I have tried icloud and time machine with no luck. I am not trying from the computer that I deleted from as my daughter has taken it out of town. Could this be one of the problems?
