Is there a way to get the URL of a web app or page if it has been added to the Home screen on iPhone?
I have added a web app to my home screen but cannot remember the URL. How do I find it ?

It's worth noting that the developer of a given website has control over whether that website opens with or without the URL bar (and other chrome) when a shortcut is added to a user's homescreen (by adding this meta tag:
<meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-capable" content="yes">). That's why some websites open "normally", with the URL bar and etc, and some open without it.That is not the way it appears for me on my phone or iPad so I can't offer an explanation for you. Why don't you delete the icon and find the web page again and add it to your home screen again and see. If it is different
Wy don't you try this. Open the web page by clicking on the icon then when it opens tap on the box with the arrow ( at the top of the screen and then choose bookmark and save the book mark. Once you ave done that open bookmarks and see what it saved it as or copy the bookmark by holding your finger on it and paste it into notes

I know exactly the arrow you mean, but this is the problem, for this app I don't have the bar at the bottom.
I know this is kind of an old thread, but I recently had the same issue. I had pinned something to my homescreen and when I click it, there is no safari chrome to get the url from. The only workaround that I found is that if you force touch the icon on newer iPhones, you get the option to share the bookmark. You can then copy the url that way.
Tap on the web page icon you have added to your home screen and when safari opens it look in the address window and there is the url
No, there is no address window visible, and tapping on the top status line doesn't reveal it either.
Now that is strange. On my iPhone 5 when I do it I get the URL window top left and the search window top right. What do you see when you open safari to very web pages?
To view that should say
Yes, I normally see an address bar, but not in the case of this particular web app.
The problem is I don't know the address of the web page, it was a numeric ip address
When you look at bookmarks and you tap on edit it shows the url
Not sure what you mean by " the box with the arrow ( at the top of the screen"
Sorry my bad I was looking at my iPad, the icon is on the bottom of the screen when safari is open right in the middle it is abox with the arrow
