iTunes credit
If I make an in app purchase does it come from my iTunes credit or from my credit card linked to the account

For any purchases you make first your store credit will be deducted. If the purchase you are making is more than your store credit balance it will take the store credit then bill the remaining amount to the credit card on file with your apple id.
