When I choose buy for an in-app purchase, I keep getting the message "your purchase could not be completed. Please help. I've tried everything.

New at this so here goes. I am trying to purchase an in-app. The iPad asks me to confirm purchase, ok. Then I get the message "Your purchase could not be completed." I have bought other apps, so I have no idea what the problem is. I've looked on website, but can't find any answers.

iPad, iOS 5.1.1
