i bought an audio book through my ipad but wanted it downloaded onto my iphone but it didn't. How do I download it onto my iphone 4s without having to purchase it again?

I purchased an audio book through my ipad and it didn't download on my iphone 4s. How do I download it onto my iphone without purchasing it again. I have tried syncing my ipad and it only shows up on my ipad but no where else.

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3

You would have to transfer it to your computer from the ipad: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases, then sync it to your iphone

This helped me to upload it onto my computer but when I synced my iphone it did not upload. How do I get it to download from my computer if syncing it didn't work?
