If a buy an iphone with contract for 2 years, should i return back my phone after 2 years when my contract is over?

You have a contract with the mobile carrier for two years which requires payment for two years since they subsidized and reduced your initial cost for the iPhone. You could ask them if they offer an "Early Contract Termination" for a fee.

They will terminate your account, attempt to collect the early termination fee & if you don't pay, report such to the appropriate credit bureaus & other carriers to insure you can't get service anywhere else. If they Blacklist phones, they will Blacklist your phone to insure it can't be used for phone service anywhere in the country where you live.

Is it compulsary to use the carrier connection these two years? or can we just use it without sim card as an ipod?
