Hi all,
I am worried my mac mail imap is saving 3 copies of all of my emails. When I search for items I have sent, they come up three times in the search history. Any ideas on how to fix this so I am not accumulating unnecessary copies?

I am actually using Gmail and have it linked to the mail so they are both Google IMAP accounts.

Verify that you have only 1 account listed in Mail's preferences:

Gmail will always save 2 copies of each mail (or it will look like that) one will be under All Mail, and one will be in the Inbox, on your Mac where is the third one?

One is my work google account, one is my personal 1 (they are two different addresses).

You know now that I have upgraded to Mountain Lion I am not seeing the same issue. Not sure what changed but I will respond if it occurs again.
