My contacts are gone on home and iPhone
For some reason, my contacts have been deleted on my iMac and iPhone.
What's up with that and how do I recover them?

Have you or someone else deleted them from iCloud?
Are you using iCloud at all?
If you dont: do you have a time machine backup of your Mac or a backup of your iPhone? If you do you should restore them.
It is also possible you had your contacts on an email account or exchange account and have since removed it from your Mac and iPhone.
Nope! I haven't synced with iCloud nor do I have an email configured. I think it has to do with some application update though. I do have a back up, but it's not very recent.
Any ideas?
