New replacement iphone 4s will not email photos

I had to replace defective iphone 4s today and restored new phone with iTunes. Now I cannot email photos from Camera Roll or from Photo Stream. The email screen appears and accepts address but does not send the photo. I've restarted and reset. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
