Q: Hi - When transferring info from Windows PC to a new MAC using the Migration assistant - do both computers need to be connected to the internet at the same time or do you just connect the two computers together using an ethernet cable?

The computers do not need (or use) an internet connection for migration. Just connect them to each other or to the same network.
