simulator and internet connection

simulator and internet connection

the simulator dont connect to the internet showing the message "Safari cannot open the page because it could not connect to internet "

I use simulator to develop and i dont use the browser but use many webservices that off curse dont run without a connection.

The strange thing is that this use to work without any problem but suddenly stop working and i just dont know what else can i try to fix it.

Xcode 4.6

Simulator IOS 6.1 (10B141)

Any advice is welcome.

have you tried to control the computer internet connection when the simulator can't use internet?

Yes, internet works but i notice something.

If i want to connect to iTunes Store i cant using itunes i got the error:

iTubes cannot connect to iTunes store. Unknown error (-3248)

I have the strong feeling that this is related to my problem and also cannot solve

The simulator is just another application on your Mac. If it can't connect to the Internet, look for some system modification on the Mac side that affects networking,

Ok, i found the problem.

Not only the emulator cannot connect to internet, also itunes, appstore, even mac widgets. Looking for information i read that sometimes this just happend when using wifi.

I connect the mac with the network cable directly to the computer and like magic everything start working.

i dont know what happend but maybe this information is usefull for someone else.
