my bluetooth disappeared

If you do a search back through the forums you will see that quite a few people have had this problem.

Quite a few fixes have been suggested and what works for one person does not work for another.

I have the same problem and nothing has worked for me to get it back so I took the easy option and spent less than £2.00 on a Bluetooth Dongle from Amazon. I plugged it into the Macbook PRO and it made bluetooth available, paired up the magic mouse and it all works a treat.

Not an ideal solution I will admit but life is too short to spend hours trying various resets and other suggestions.

Hi Barry - I have the same issue Bluetooth just disapeared, even though the symbol is still visible in the task bar at the top of my screen. Unfortunately I have a wireless keyboard and am not sure what the best way would be to get things set up to functionality again - kind of an interesting connundrum.

I solved this by turnin off my computer, disconnecting the power supply, grabbing a coffee, plugging in the power supply and restating my computer.
