wireless keyboard keeps disconnecting and reconnecting
My Wireless Keyboard keeps disconnecting and reconnecting and typing by it self!! any ideas?
iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)
Replace the batteries and try again.

Batteries are new, happens intermittently!!
Doesn't mean that they're good. Beyond that, I have no other answer, since I only use wired keyboards and mice.

So my mac keep doing the same after multiple visits to the Apple store. The blutooth components have been replaced and also the Logic Board and it's still acting up. Did you find a solution?

Yes believe it or not my problem was caused by the keyboard being too close to the iMac display, the bluetooth was infering with the other radio signals coming from the antenna, it needs to be at least 1ft away from the display (30cm) to prevent this (this won't help those of you with small computer tables/desks)

Usually my keyboard is on a drop down but I decided to try it on the desktop. That's when the troubles began.
I put it back which puts it about 2' from the iMac and works fine now. (After screwing around for 4 hours and buying a new one that didn't work on the desktop either.
