Download Error

I am attempting to rent a movie on my iPad2, however it keeps saying "Download error. Tap to retry.". Every time I try to download it the error keeps showing and the movie will not download.

I have attempted to try and delete it but the icon is not coming up. I have also attempted to go back to iTunes store and download it again but it will not let me.

Please help.
