I can't get my iPhone to pair with any other devices.

What other devices are you trying to pair with? The iPhone will not connect to other phones, computers etc; it only supports hands free devices, a few telemetry devices, headsets, and computers for the purpose of tethering only.

Can't do that. Either download the images to your computer, then upload to your iPhone, or use MMS to send them to yourself.
