Automator Network and Mounting

I used an Automator app to mount our Prinergy network volume in Snow Leopard, but when we updated to Mountain Lion, it no longer works. It will try to mount the volume, but it seems to changes the backward slash into something else.

smb://hw26938-34\PrinergyUserName:Password@192.168.2.32 is what used to work in Snow Leopard

when I try it in Mountain Lion, it pops up the connect dialog box that has this in the username field...

smb://hw26938-34%5CPrinergyUserName

and nothing in the Password field

I am guessing that it has to do with the \ between the two parts of the username

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Are you able to connect manually? This may be unrelated, but since my upgrade from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion, I'm unable to connect to some older network shares. Apparently certain authentication methods are not allowed for security reasons in Mountain Lion. I saw a technote that details how to reenable older authentication methods but it didn't work for me.

Yes, I'm able to connect manually, using Command-K, and also, if I correct the information in the login window that comes up with Automator, it connects fine.

I have other network drives that I mount with usernames & passwords within that same Automator app. The only one that messes up is the one with "hw26938-34\PrinergyUserName" used as the username. It has to have something to do with the \ since none of the other volumes have that, and they mount just fine. It's as if Automator passes a bit of gibberish instead of the \, or Mountain Lion interprets what Automator is passing as gibberish.

It worked perfectly in Snow Leopard. When I opened the Automator app in Mountain Lion after the 1st time that it didn't work, it did say something about get specified server and connect to server were different in that version and that I need to re-write my Automator app. It wasn't that exactly, can't remember the exact words. Anyway, I did use the new Get Specified Server and Connect to Server, but it still didn't work.
