Logic 9.1.8 extremely unstable

Since upgrading (for a lot of money) to Logic 9.1.8 i've suddenly had a LOT of bugs and problems. One of the most irritating is that 1 in 5 times it refuse to stop playing when i hit the stop button. If im lucky i dont have to restart and it stops playing after a minute or so. Another one is that it suddenly starts to toggle ultrafast between play and stop, impossible to break. Other bugs as well. How can you (apple) realese a new version not fully tested!?

Logic Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

Found a silly but timesaving workaround for the play-freeze bug while waiting for Apple to take action...

Have another logic project open in the background, make sure that projects arrange window is visible behind the one ure working with. When the nice lil play-freeze hits you, toggle to the other projects arrange window (u need to do it with the mouse on the screen as the window menu is of no use in frozen mode).

Play-freeze stops (at least on my macbook pro). As soon as play-freeze has stopped - go back the project ure working with.

The problem is OS X 10.8.3 with Logic 9.1.8.

Suggest reload with OS X 10.7.2 up to 10.7.5.

I have Logic 9.1.8,on a Mac Pro OS 10.7.2.

The problem which is my first was when I upghrade to OS X 10 8.3, which unstables Logic Pro 9.1.8.

From the begging of EMagic into Logic, which I have used from the start, I have never had any problems

with Logic Pro, 7,.2, 8. 9. 9.1 1nd 9.1.8.

Think you're right. Since i upgraded to osx 10.8.3, ive had a lot of other problems/bugs (wifi stopped working, still isnt working, since i just gave up the hustle of getting the support needed to solve the problem from apple support. They neither seam to admit the problem nor knew how to solve it although loads of other people seam to have had the same problem in 10.8.x. Plus the search function in the new 10.8.3 MAIL layout doesnt work. It often doesnt find keywords in mails although i find them myself if searching the mails manually). It's even worse to release a new system update with bugs... Anyway this is a Logic Pro discussion.

I'm abit reluctant to the hustle of downgrading to an older system though. I just want to work... Sigh!
