Connection Timeout when using wifi

Lately during the day my wifi connection is ok but at night I get a connection timeout. It has done this with the personal hotspot on my ipad and my brandspaking new netgear router. I can connect using the ethernet cable but not the wifi. At this moment it doesn't even want to recognise my password.
