cinema display grey

My 30" ACD went crazy last night, after waking form a sleep this grey ghosting was present on my screen - it was more grey arround the edges and the base and had a few thick lines/bars down the screen.

The problem was not with the graphics card as plugging in a different screen was fine and without bars
